5 Steamy Movies to Get You in the Mood

Watching a sexy movie is the best way to end a romantic day or just a Tuesday and I got 5 sexy movies to get you in the mood. Whether you are celebrating with another person or it’s just a romantic evening with you and your favorite sex toy, these movies are bound to get your engine revving.

Be warned, there are spoilers ahead, so if you don’t want them, don’t read. Although, I don’t think they will deter you from watching. Get ready for some steamy sex!

Below Her Mouth-2016

This movie stars Erika Linder, (a girl crush of mine), as Dallas and Natalie Krill as Jasmine.

Dallas is the rebellious, brooding type who works her day job as a roofer and her night job is picking up girls.

Quite the opposite of Jasmine, who is engaged to a man, dresses to the nines and lives in a beautiful home.

Dallas works for a roofing company and just happen to be working on a roof within Jasmine’s sight. They notice one another in awkward glances of desire, but Jasmine tries to push it down into denial and move on with her day.

One evening, Jasmine and her friend go to a lesbian dance club on sort of a goof and Jasmine sees Dallas there. As much as Jasmine verbally tells Dallas to stay away from her, she finds herself drawn back towards Dallas again and again. The two finally see one another again the day that Dallas’ roof job is ending and against Jasmine’s own intuition, she agrees on one drink with Dallas. Well, I don’t even have to tell you what happens next. I mean, c’mon, we have all said, “Okay, just one drink”, to that person in our lives. It never did end with just one drink, at least not for me and not for these two either.

They soon discover they can’t stay away from one another and this causes a lot of internal conflict with Jasmine due to her being engaged to a man and also with Dallas due to her being the “love ‘em and leave ‘em” type and now feeling something a bit deeper for Jasmine.

I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say the sex scenes are HOT! Not only in a make- you-wet kind of way, but a romantic, struggling, relatable, passionate kind of way. Not being able to keep their hands off one another. Making out on the steps of stairs, in the rain or the bed of a truck. That feeling of not caring if anyone sees, all the while seeing in Jasmine’s eyes that she’s nervous and worried.

Later in the film also seeing from Dallas’s point of view that it isn’t just a one-night stand anymore for her. There are feelings involved and that’s foreign to Dallas.

The sex in the film is just that. It’s sex. You see it all. No blurred out pussies and no fake kissing, this is tongue, vaginas, oral sex and even a strap-on dildo. Not to mention a pretty hot solo bathtub scene involving Jasmine and her water faucet. Yeah, just go watch.

Now, this might sound a little more porno to you, but trust me, it’s not. There are grueling emotional scenes. Scenes that are so relatable due to their struggle of loving someone you can’t be with. Jasmine’s struggle to go back to the person she was before met Dallas, so she can have the life she thought was right for her. Dallas’s struggle with her own internal demons. Feeling something for a woman after so many years of basically not giving a fuck. Feeling her karma has met her face to face.

The other part of this movie I love is the fact we see Jasmine’s Fiancé’s reaction and his struggle, pain, confusion about it all. We truly see how these struggles they all are having individually affects them all.

Not to mention the soundtrack is bomb.

Adore-2013

This movie is a favorite of mine. I’ve watched it several times over and it’s really enjoyable each time. Starring Naomi Watts and Robyn Wright-Penn as two best friends who each have sons the same age as one another who were raised together. The four go to their typical summer vacation spot to have fun and relax. The boys are played by Xavier Samuel and James Frecheville.

When I first saw the trailer for this movie, I was immediately drawn in. Two phenomenal actresses, two attractive young men and an interesting plot. I admit, I kind of always had a thing for older women and younger men getting together in movies. I mean my first experience with this sort of thing was watching Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft in the Graduate and that started the fantasy of younger men for me. It just turned me on to no end and I loved watching men (of legal age) and older women having steamy love affairs that were a little forbidden and a little emotional.

This movie definitely does not disappoint in that aspect.

Besides the beautiful, ocean backdrops of Australia and a rustic beach house any of us would kill to have, this movie provides a bit of a feeling of intimacy between all four characters because of the many years of friendship and even tragedies they’ve suffered together.

They act more like four best friends than two mothers and two sons. I think that’s why it brought about a feeling that was both a little uncomfortable and a little understandable, especially when the two mothers didn’t get all that upset at each other for doing it with one another’s kid.

All in all, this is a great movie and a steamy must-see.

Sliver-1993

I don’t know about you, but when I am watching a mystery/thriller type movie, I want a passion love scene at least once in the film. This flick definitely gives us more than just one. This movie was one I saw several times as a teenager, sneaking into the living room after my parents were asleep to watch late-night movies I wasn’t allowed to watch normally.

This one has Sharon Stone and William Baldwin and is full of steamy sex and mystery and is a perfect movie for staying in and getting in the mood without jumping right into porn.

Carly (Stone), plays a book editor who wants nothing more than to start over after her marriage ended. She moves into a beautiful, high-end apartment building and meets some of her interesting neighbors, most of who tell her about the women who used to live in Carly’s current apartment. The woman met an unfortunate end by jumping off of her apartment balcony.

Another neighbor she meets is Zeke (Baldwin) and of course, it’s hard to resist his shy, but charming personality and sexy smile. She also meets, Jack, a crime novelist who is very adamant in getting to know her, even though she’s not really looking to get involved.

She does have a hot night of sex with Zeke and although it’s a very steamy and passionate scene, it’s also a bit emotional and awkward, in a relatable way. I think we’ve all been in situations where we felt a bit more emotional than we intended during sex and this is what Carly experiences with Zeke the first time.

As she tries to find her place in the community, another neighbor dies and she begins to feel uneasy and suspicious of both Zeke and Jack. She starts wondering if these accidents aren’t accidents at all.

She soon realizes she may not have the privacy she thought she had, and she worries she may be the next target.

Now don’t worry, there are more sexy scenes in this movie than I described, but this is a favorite of mine and I am not going to begin to spoil it for you.  It’s definitely a must see and this is one you can enjoy with your partner and then get down to business right there on the couch afterward.

Lie With Me (2005)

This movie is a bit infamous and if you haven’t heard of it, just google something along the lines of “movies where actors really have sex”. I guarantee this movie will show up in the list.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I love movies where it’s all shown. Some soft-core porn is right up my alley. I am even a fan of those corny, harlequin type romance movies with ridiculously romantic and passionate sex scenes, but this movie really surpassed my expectations plot-wise.

Eric Balfour and Lauren Lee Smith star in this movie about two people who are honestly just looking for a good time, only to find something much more intense than they expected.

Lee plays Leila, a sexually confident and quite aggressive young woman who goes after and gets any guy she wants. She meets David (Balfour) who is just as aggressive, although a bit more reserved when it comes to Leila. The two begin an affair that starts as a passionate, one-time thing and ends with them re-evaluating what they wanted in the first place.

With many sex scenes involving full nudity on both parts and obvious scenes of the two actors getting it on, it’s pretty hot watching two people have sex that doesn’t have a porn-like feel. It’s almost awkward in its voyeuristic appeal and that’s what makes it so hot.

Not convinced? The first sex scene opens with the two noticing one another. Instead of getting together, they go off alone with someone else, being in such a position (no pun intended) where they are able to watch one another while they each have sex with someone else. The connection is palpable, and I can’t say my panties didn’t get a little wet watching that.

A Moment in the Reeds (2017)

This movie was recommended in the romance section of Netflix and I had no idea what it was even about before hitting play, but I gave it a shot and I am glad I did. I am a bit of a sucker for foreign films and like indulge in them here and there. Don’t worry if you aren’t into movies with captions, there are only a few captions when a couple characters speaks Finnish, but the rest is in English.

This is a Finnish romantic drama about Levi and Tareq. Levi is played by Janne Puustinen and Tareq is played by Boodi Kabbanni. Even though you may not have heard of these two actors, don’t pass this up quite yet. They do a phenomenal job and I wold love to watch them again sometime.

The plot revolves around Levi’s travel home to Finland from Paris on school holiday and his strained relationship with father. He stays with his father to help with renovations on a child-hood vacation home and meets Tareq in the meantime. They work together on the home, soon discovering his attraction for Tareq and how it affects his relationship with his father. It also gives an eye-opening view of Tareq’s life and his struggles being from Afghanistan, missing his family and how his sexuality is a crime there. They both discover so much about themselves and Levi discovers that he has to face some hurts of his past in order to move forward.

This film was one of the most moving films I’ve seen in a while. The love scenes and emotional connection between Levi and Tareq are raw and realistic, making it that much more of a beautiful film than anticipated.

Even if you aren’t into LBGTQ labeled films, give this one a go. The passion and love involved in this film is something we can all relate to and I absolutely think it’s one that I’ll keep in my must-watch movie list.
